Little Lambs Preschool is a ministry and mission of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Rooted in the historic Christian faith, we joyfully confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and seek to share His love with children and families.
We believe that every child is a precious gift from God. Created in His image and wonderfully made, each child is worthy of love, care, and compassion. It is our privilege to nurture children in a safe and loving environment where they can grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
At the center of our faith is Jesus Christ. We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to save sinners through His life, death, and resurrection. Salvation is God's gracious gift, received through faith, and not something we earn for ourselves. Because Christ has loved us, we seek to love and serve others with that same love.
We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired and trustworthy Word of God. Scripture is the source and norm of all Christian teaching and serves as the foundation for all we believe, teach, and confess.
As Christians of the Lutheran tradition, we joyfully affirm that Holy Scripture alone is the final authority for faith and life. Through His Word, God reveals His love, His promises, and His salvation in Jesus Christ. God's Word shapes our life together and guides our care for children and families.
We rejoice that God welcomes children into His family through Holy Baptism and continues to nurture faith through His Word. Through Bible stories, prayer, songs, and daily acts of Christian love, we seek to help children know that Jesus loves them and that they belong to Him.
We believe that parents are God's first and primary teachers of their children. It is our privilege to partner with families in nurturing children and supporting their growth. Together, home, church, and school help lay a foundation of faith, character, and lifelong learning.
Because we serve young children, our focus is on the foundational truths shared by Christians throughout the centuries. Children hear Bible stories, pray together, sing songs of faith, and learn that Jesus loves them. While Christians sometimes differ on theological matters, our goal is not to introduce children to those divisions, but to joyfully proclaim the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.
